The main purpose of talk.rubynow.com is to act as a place for other Rubyist to find useful information related to Ruby. We incorporated a point system so people can easily find the most important information (via highest rated posts). We have also incorporated a tag system so anyone can tag any particular post that they find useful. You can find a list of tags here.
Although there are other places to find help about Ruby such as IRC, we built this site anyway in the hopes that this would be a great resource to the Ruby community.
The site is broken up in to sections, with the main section being the help section. Besides the help section for asking and answering questions, there is the general talk section and the tips section. Tags can be used independently of the different sections to describe the contents of your post.
